VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 fixtures announced by authority

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on 29th March 2017 Wednesday announced the fixtures of the upcoming VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 season.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on 29th March 2017 Wednesday announced the fixtures of the upcoming VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 season with the opening match scheduled to be held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on April 5, 2017.

Defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad (SH) will play last year’s runners-up Royal Challengers Bangalore in the opening game of the 2017 season.

The tournament will be spread over 47 days across 10 venues. The schedule has been designed with each team playing 14 matches – 7 of them at home venues.

8.  Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi

9.  Holkar Stadium, Indore

10.  Saurashtra Cricket Stadium, Rajkot


 

The season will also witness IPL returning to Indore for the first time since 2011.
The final will be played at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium – on Sunday, May 21st, 2017.
